Oregon City Schools Foundation
Events
From student celebrations to staff appreciation, OCSF brings the Oregon City community together throughout the year.
Teen Mentoring Program
In a new collaboration with Clackamas County, OCSF is supporting a pilot program that pairs trained high school mentors with elementary students to foster belonging and confidence. These mentors visit elementary schools twice monthly to provide academic support and encouragement through shared activities. By building these vital connections early, the program establishes a foundation for lifelong success and community engagement.
OCHS Graduation Party
OCSF was proud to support the Oregon City High School graduation party for the class of 2025 — a celebration years in the making for students and families.
Transportation & Maintenance Celebration
On June 6th, 2025, OCSF celebrated the operations team that keeps the district running every day — bus drivers, building maintenance staff, mechanics, and IT. These are the people who make sure students get to school safely and that the lights are on when they arrive. It was all things related to the folks that get our kids to school.
Poetry Contest
OCSF sponsored a schools and community-wide poetry contest hosted and originated by the Oregon City School District. The contest was enormously popular, drawing dozens of entries across every age group. Winners read their poems aloud at the May school board meeting and were awarded prizes provided by OCSF.
Grants
OCSF faciliated grants for first time teachers. Entering a classroom for the first time should feel like a professional milestone, not an invitation to max out a personal credit card on glue sticks and organizers. These grants empower new educators by providing the immediate funding necessary to transform empty shelves into vibrant, resource-rich learning environments. By equipping our newest teachers with the right tools from day one, we’re ensuring they can focus on their students instead of their shopping lists.
