Oregon Battle of the Books 2025
OCSF has proudly supported Jump Start at Gardner and Tumwata Middle Schools in previous years, helping students get that extra boost before the school year begins. While we're not sponsoring the program this year, we're still cheering you on from the sidelines!
OCSF is excited to support middle schoolers participating in Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) this year! This awesome statewide reading competition brings together teams of 4-5 students who read from a curated list of 16 amazing books, then compete in tournament-style "battles" answering trivia questions about their favorite reads. It's like turning reading into a spectator sport - and we're here to help make sure our middle school teams have everything they need to succeed, from books to competition fees. Because when students get fired up about reading together, incredible things happen!
